NEW YEAR'S EVE

Girls,
The new year's eve dance is going to be on the 30th not the 31st.

I believe it is at the frontenac building from 7:30 - 10:30pm


Also on the 31st, there is going to be a party at our church building for all the families in the ward. come with some goodies and maybe a game or two! we are going to dance the night away! It happens to be Sister Falvey's b-day so make sure to wish her a happy birthday! she's the old 30!!

Speaking of Birthday's, Sister Jarmen's b-day is the 1st of January. So please also try and wish her a Happy day too, (I wont tell you her age, you probably wont believe it anyway, she looks great!!!)

Tuesday Dec 29 Activity

December 23, 2009 Activity

Hey Girlie's!!!

We have a fun night of caroling planned for this Wednesday. We will be meeting at the church at 6:30pm and driving around and caroling at a few selected houses. After that we will be doing a fun White Elephant exchange.

The Rules of the exchange are:

1. pick a gift that you either already have at home, or buy one, but make sure you do not go over 5 dollars. that is a must!

2. Make it fun or silly. we all want a good laugh!!

3. Have fun!!!! NO POOR SPORTS!!!!!

We will get you home as long as you get yourselves to the church on time!!

We had a great lesson today on the Value of Education and I want to remind you of my testimony of Education. It is so important to study hard and know what you want to accomplish.

Girls, Please Be there at 530 to start the set up and Cooking. We will be starting at 630 with the program. Also, you need to have your items for your table presentation. Changed Activity

hey Girls, I still have not heard from everyone. Our Plan as of Right now is to Go on Saturday to Kennedy Ice Rink. We are going to first Meet at Ceci's Pizza at 1:00 and have lunch then drive over to the rink together for the 2:15 open skate session. Please let me know if you can not make it. Thanks girls for your understanding. Please get yourselves to Ceci's and we will bring you home.

December 9 2009 Activity

Hey girls, sorry this is a little late. Our Activity for Wednesday December 9 is our Personal Progress Reward Party. We are going to Steinbergs to go Ice Skating. Please, Please, Please remember to dress warm. It is an outdoor arena and it is very cold in case you did not notice!!! We will be meeting at the Church at 6:oopm and riding over together. Be on time or you will be left at the building. Also please remember that this is a reward party for finishing your personal progress. if you need last minute help to finish something then please let one of us know!

December 2 2009

Our Activity on Wednesday December 2 is a joint activity with the Young Men. The boys are in charge and have asked us to be there at 6:30. Please be on time.

Also as a heads up. our personal progress reward party will be in the 9th of December. Please have your projects finished and ready to show to a leader.

Also, Young women in excellence is on the 16th of December. you all have an assignment and if you don't know what it is please let Sister Jarmen or Sister Wallis know so we can remind you of what it is.

November 25 2009 - NO ACTIVITY

We will NOT have an activity on Wednesday the 25th due to Thanksgiving being on Thursday. We ask that you still work on your Personal Progress because our reward party will be held December 9th!!! Those who have not finished there goals will not be able to attend our Skate party.

Fashion Show

We would like to thank the creators of this unique activity, Sabrina and Cora. They worked on this for their 10 hour personal progress project and were assisted by Sister Falvey. Thank you also to Brother Gogna for being our camera man!! The point of the activity was to show off some modest fashions with a twist. Everyone picked a "special" item and had to incorporate it in their outfit. We all had a great time.
